Recommended CPBA Pathway for Canadian Advisors
Corey DeJean recommends the Certified Professional Business Advisor pathway for Canadian professionals.
Corey DeJean was running a busy accounting practice and recognised that many business owners needed more than compliance support. They needed practical help understanding their numbers, planning for growth and making better strategic decisions.
Corey wanted to expand into a more professional advisory practice and realised she needed a practical set of standards, tools and frameworks to guide the way she worked with clients.
From Accounting Practice to Advisory Practice
After discovering the Institute of Advisors certification pathway, Corey completed the Certified Professional Business Advisor program and began applying the client discovery process, advisory frameworks and practical techniques with her business clients.
She has successfully used these tools to create stronger advisory conversations and convert more client relationships into structured business advisory engagements.
Corey now highly recommends the CPBA pathway for Canadian accountants, bookkeepers, consultants and business professionals who want to add, improve or grow advisory services.
