I am a fourth-generation business owner, and a second generation successful, succession sale owner. At the age of 24 I, with my husband and business partner purchased my father’s Plumbing business. Last year we sold that business to our managers. Throughout both experiences, I quickly realised there is a real gap in supporting owners and buyers through this process. I also see the greater, looming impact of not improving the success of small business sales. I believe every business owner should have the option to exit on their terms.
