Australian Chapter President, Peter Hickey, Visits Canberra Local Chapter Meeting

Following the successful launch of the Canberra Chapter of the Institute of Advisors in October 2019, Australian Chapter President joined the latest chapter meeting in February.

Peter joined Chapter Leaders Phil Roberts, Steve Hambridge & Darryl Young along with other like-minded individuals to network and discuss how to develop the credibility required to build your advisory services. One of the key challenges that the advisory industry faces is that there is no governing body or set of standards to ensure the quality of advice advisors are giving their clients. The Institute has established chapters around the world that supports methodologies, processes and practical tools that allows competent practitioners working across all disciplines of advisory to successfully engage clients and offer their services.

These local chapter meetings are a great opportunity to offer a forum to further educate business advisors about the best practice methodologies, processes and technology to enhance the quality of advisors and firms in the profession.
